The “Open Schooling and Eco Trip” activities were held between 26-29 September 2025 in Bucharest, Romania, hosted by the project’s local partner Liceul Tehnologic “Sf. Antim Ivireanu”.

All project partners took part in the event:

  • Giresun Science and Art Center (Türkiye)
  • Life and Environment Academy (Türkiye)
  • 8th Primary School of Nea Filadelfeia (Greece)
  • University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland)

During the four-day programme, participants were introduced to the host school’s structure and learned about its environmental Open Schooling practices and STEAM activities. The event provided a platform to exchange good practices and engage in interactive sessions with students.

An eco-trip to the delta region was also organized, where participants conducted hands-on experiments by examining water samples under the microscope and discussing their microbiological structures—an inspiring example of practical, inquiry-based learning.

As part of the Open School concept, the Romanian Parliament Building, which regularly welcomes student groups, opened its doors to the project team. During the visit, representatives from the Romanian Ministry of Education were briefed about the Livelobal project and its central focus on Open Schooling. The discussions emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and public organizations in fostering environmental awareness.

Throughout the event, partners also reviewed the progress achieved so far, evaluated next steps, and finalized preparations for the upcoming project activities. The meeting concluded with renewed commitment to promoting sustainability, innovation, and cross-cultural cooperation in education.
