The Livelobal project held its Kick-off Meeting in Katowice, Poland, on May 16–19, 2025.
The event was hosted by the University of Silesia in Katowice, bringing together all partner institutions:
- Giresun Science and Art Center (Türkiye) – Project Coordinator
- Life and Environment Academy (Türkiye)
- 8th Primary School of Nea Filadelfeia (Greece)
- “St. Antim Ivireanu” Technological High School (Romania)
- University of Silesia – Children’s University (Poland)
Throughout the four-day meeting, partners introduced their institutions, shared experiences, and collaboratively refined the project’s action plan, work packages, and task distribution for the 18-month implementation period.
The consortium also visited the Children’s University of Silesia, where they observed environmental education workshops and STEAM-based learning activities in practice. Participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas with local educators and gain comparative insights into environmental sustainability in education across partner countries.
The Kick-off Meeting successfully laid a solid foundation for cooperation among partners and marked the official start of an international journey aimed at promoting STEAM education, climate awareness, and sustainable development.
